The JU Małopolska Centre of Biotechnology was created through the collaboration of the Jagiellonian University and the University of Agriculture in Krakow. The purpose of this institution is to conduct research at the highest possible level, to generate innovation and to cooperate with companies working in the field of life sciences. The MCB will also actively work with international partners, such as the Max Planck Gesellschaft, the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and the Kyoto University.
