You are welcome to visit the unique and magical Jagiellonian Universtiy sites, where history meets the present, from the medieval Collegium Maius and the old University courtyards to Collegium Novum. Guides and custodians of the Jagiellonian University Museum will take you on a journey through 650 years of history and science.
Two programmes:
1. Tour through the old University courtyards to Collegium Novum.
Carillon clock with a procession of university figures, a passage from Huta Courtyard to Arcade Courtyard, which is normally closed to the public, and Collegium Novum Assembly Hall are among the numerous attractions of the guided tour.
The meeting at Huta Courtyard (ul. Św. Anny 10), the passage to Collegium Novodvorscianum, then to the Arcade Courtyard (watching the clock and listening to the carrillon), passage through the Long Hallway to the Professors’ Garden, listening to the account of the history of the University Quarter, walk to the Oak of Liberty, visit in the room 56 (which witnessed the infamous Sonderaktion Krakau) and in the Assembly Hall of Collegium Novum.

2. Collegium Maius Museum tour – From Libraria to Aula
Are you interested in visiting the Jagiellonian University Treasury, seeing the insignia of the oldest Polish university during its 650th Jubilee and sitting in the choir stalls of the Jagiellonian Aula, where Pope John Paul II received an honorary degree? You are invited to take a tour of the oldest building of the Jagiellonian University – Collegium Maius.
