Official inauguration of the 45th Anniversary of the School of Polish Language and Culture
The First Lady, Ms. Anna Komorowska, will be the Honorary Patron of this year’s edition of the School of Polish Language and Culture. The event will be hosted by the JU Rector, Prof. dr hab. med. Wojciech Nowak. We have invited representatives of JU authorities, embassies and consulates, and professors of Polish Studies, both from Poland and abroad. The meeting will also be attended by several hundred students from over 40 countries.

Find out more »Football match between foreign students of the Jagiellonian University and Cracow University of Technology
Two teams comprised of foreign students from the Jagiellonian University and the Cracow University of Technology will face each other in an official football match. The victorious team will be awarded with a Cup, and both teams will receive commemorative diplomas.

JU foreign students from over 20 countries will present the most interesting and iconic elements of their cultures: music, dance, song, cuisine, garments. The programme also features a performance by the “Słowianki” JU Song and Dance Ensemble (traditional Polish dances) and the “Cracovia Danza” Court Ballet (dances from various periods and continents).

The session will include student representatives from Polish universities. The Forum is an autonomous association of student governments from the member universities of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP). The organisation works on formulating opinions on issues important for the development of Polish arts and sciences, higher education system and culture before presenting them to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities, Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland…

Find out more »JU Rector’s Cup International Regatta (coxed eights) on the Vistula River by Wawel Castle
Nine European sports teams, including the famous teams from Cambridge and Oxford, will compete for the JU Rector’s Cup at a distance of 1000 metres. The regatta will take place on the Vistula River by Wawel Castle. Everyone is invited to come and show their support for the teams.
